We're somewhere in Lille, North of France. Two guys sit on a desolate bench and one of them takes a guitar off a case. He begins the play and immediately, all the children and animals nearby are yawning incredibly. The guy playing the guitar says to his mate:
ReplyDelete--- It's always the same shit whenever I try to play this endless and boring instrumental Blues in a-minor. Everybody seems to shit out of that shit. Pissing me off.
--- It's normal. It's an empty shell. There's nothing inside. And to make matters worse, it's someone who already died. Blues in A-Minor is great, but if you want to transmit strong and serious emotions like, for example, "Lonesome In My Bedroom" or Fleetwood Mac's "Love That Burns", you gotta make sure that your basics are in E-Major! The only way to make your instrument sound Wonderful and Eternal! But after all..... I think you want a little girl.... To l'oeuf a loot... Just a little girl.... Falling in loathe in you.... Alors, démerde-toi avec ce machin inutile et dégueulasse.
Back home, the disappointed guitarist listened to George Harrison and he began to understand..... Yes. At least, The Chiffons had made their way to "My Sweet Lord", which remains, plagiarism or not, a great song. In comparison, a reported lover to an old grizzly bear........ The operation didn't last long and he felt much better the next day.
