  1. This is easily one of the best Hendrix shows ever . A careful listen reveals that Villanova Junction is not played , but something just as good appears during the Are You Experienced /Stone Free medley . Jimi seems annoyed by the audience , yet his playing rarely sounded this relaxed . Hopefully the care put into the Fillmore East shows will restore this show to its most pristine version sometime soon .
